Product and reference images
Asset roles, primary product selection and upload limits.
Product images are required
Product images identify what you are generating: its appearance, color and structure. Without an available product image, planning or generation is blocked. Reference images alone are insufficient.
The upload plus menu offers Product image and Reference image. Upload multiple relevant views, close-ups or packaging photos. A transparent or white background is recommended, but not required; uploading does not automatically remove the background.
Choose the primary product image
The first successful product upload becomes the default primary image. You can choose another. After deleting it, check the replacement selection. Removing all product images prevents further generation.
The primary product image is an input asset; a main listing image is an output type. A custom set may omit the main listing image while still requiring a primary product asset.
Optional reference images
References describe style, color, composition or layout. Mark their purpose. A reference product, brand, caption or measurement does not automatically become a confirmed fact about your product.
Uploaded assets are analyzed jointly. Each actual generation request uses one selected product image. Other product views and references contribute through analysis, shared visual direction and written planning. The primary product image is the default; detail or packaging frames can use a corresponding product asset instead.
Reference images do not replace product identity. The first generated result is not automatically passed to subsequent images as a reference.
Limits and asset roles
- JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 4 MB per image.
- Up to 10 total product and reference images, including at least one product image.
- Only successfully uploaded, available assets participate. One failed upload does not remove the others.
- Mark product assets as identity, detail or packaging, and references as style or layout. Correct mistaken roles before planning.
Saved tasks retain asset addresses and roles across refreshes. Review the updated plan after changing assets.
