Product video (Beta)

Turn one product photo or a text description into a short clip, in the workspace and on the canvas.

Where to find it

  • Workspace: the “Video Beta” tile in the left sidebar.
  • Canvas: the Video button in the toolbar adds a video node. Connect an image node as the reference, generate, and the clip stays on the node.

Image to video and text to video

  • Image to video: upload a product photo or pick one from My images as the first frame. The product stays as it is and the camera does the moving. Use JPG, PNG or WebP up to 12MB, with an aspect ratio between 1:2.5 and 2.5:1 and a shorter side of at least 300px. The clip follows the image's ratio.
  • Text to video: describe the shot and choose 1:1, 16:9 or 9:16. It costs more, so prefer image to video for product clips.

The camera moves fill in a ready description: orbit, slow push in, detail sweep, scene mood, hands-on and unboxing. Edit it freely. Stating that the product stays unchanged reduces distortion.

Length, quality and credits

Image to video (with a first frame) offers 3, 5 or 10 seconds at 540p, 720p or 1080p; a 5 second clip costs about 6, 17 or 31 credits. Text to video offers 3 to 15 seconds at 720p or 1080p at 12 credits per second, ×1.5 at 1080p, so 5 seconds at 720p costs 60 credits. The button shows the price of the current settings.

Credits are charged only once the clip is saved; a failed render costs nothing. One account renders at most two clips at a time, and the balance must cover the clips still rendering.

Rendering and saving

Clips render on the server, usually in 1–3 minutes. You can leave the page and find the clip under My videos later; it plays in place and downloads as MP4. A render that takes longer than 15 minutes is treated as failed.

Troubleshooting

  • “The video service is busy”: the service's video capacity is temporarily unavailable. No credits were charged; try again later.
  • Image too narrow or too small: use one closer to square with a shorter side of at least 300px.
  • Amazon listings: Amazon recommends at least one compliant main image, six more images and one video; plan the images and the video together.

Models, prices and options may change during the Beta. Tell us about problems through the workspace feedback entry.
